Question 1

How do I get started?

Accepted Answer

Either fill in our Enquire Now journey - a short guided brief that takes a couple of minutes - or book a 15-minute chat if you'd rather talk things through with us first. Once we have your brief, our team will reach out to schedule a call.

Question 2

Do you charge for a quotation or consultation?

Accepted Answer

No. Consultations, briefs and quotations are always free.

Question 3

How far in advance should we book?

Accepted Answer

As early as you possibly can. Getting productions booked in early is massively important - it gives us time for pre-production and lets us build a real understanding of how you want the final deliverable to look.

Question 4

What happens after we enquire?

Accepted Answer

Our team will reach out and schedule a call where we go through your brief, ideas, budget and dates so everything is ironed out. We then scope a production brief, and once both parties are happy we move into production. After the shoot, editing begins - sound engineering, colour grading and every finishing detail - typically with two to three revisions before final delivery, without watermarks.

Question 5

Do you take shorter-notice or last-minute shoots?

Accepted Answer

We do, where we can. If we're already busy we may not be able to make it work, but we always try to find a way to make it suit.

Question 6

How much does a shoot cost?

Accepted Answer

It depends entirely on what you're wanting to shoot, how many deliverables you're after and your budget. There is a minimum charge - but bear in mind we're a high-end media company: you're paying for the quality, not always the time.

Question 7

Do you require a deposit?

Accepted Answer

Yes. All briefs and productions require at least 50% of the total cost upfront - this is non-negotiable. All content remains watermarked until the final delivery payment has been made.

Question 8

How long does it take to get the photos and films back?

Accepted Answer

We typically work to a 72-hour turnaround for the first production. If you need it sooner, we also offer a 24-hour rush turnaround where required, for a rush fee.

Question 9

What formats do we receive everything in?

Accepted Answer

All formats are discussed and agreed in the deliverables brief, so you know exactly what you're getting before production begins.

Question 10

Can we request revisions?

Accepted Answer

Yes - typically between two and three, though we work with you on a needs basis to make sure the final piece is exactly right.

Question 11

Do we need to prepare anything before you arrive?

Accepted Answer

All shoot preparations will be discussed during pre-production, so nothing is left to chance.

Question 12

What if we're not comfortable on camera?

Accepted Answer

We've worked with many people who aren't. Our team specialises in making every single person being filmed feel happy and good about what they've been filmed for.

Question 13

Do you provide direction?

Accepted Answer

We can and do provide creative direction where required.

Question 14

Are you licensed for drone filming?

Accepted Answer

Yes - we are fully licensed in the UK, Europe and the USA.

Question 15

Do you travel for productions?

Accepted Answer

Yes - we are available for productions worldwide.

Question 16

Can you shoot a hotel or restaurant while it's open and trading?

Accepted Answer

Yes - this is a common question! We can and absolutely love capturing the real essence of a space. We do also recommend setting some closed time aside, to reduce the possibility of disruption to the business.

Question 17

What makes Scored Spaces different?

Accepted Answer

We specialise in capturing what it feels like - and what it felt like - to be somewhere. With real estate, that means filming a home, not a house. With restaurants, it's capturing the essence of going out somewhere nice and enjoying great food, rather than filming a business. With hotels, it's picturing what it's actually like to stay there, rather than just trying to sell rooms.

Question 18

What industries do you specialise in?

Accepted Answer

Real estate, hospitality, events, lifestyle and corporate.
